Dress (2013 Arties)

Here is this years Arties dress. Last years winning piece took over a month. This year I did not have the time to be as intricate, I had to crank it out in 3 days (from making the patter to the finished dress) while working. But we still made it in the top 10! Here it is.

I have been dying to make a dress with polka dots. Finally had the chance. I started out with a Ducttape dress for that I made last year. Then I draped the pattern off of that.

Here he is.

The foam structure is finished and he is cover ed in nylon fleece.

He is ready for eyes, arms, ears, and tail.
